Mourning Hope Grief Center

Community Education

Mourning Hope provides education, assistance, training, crisis support, and networking to schools and the community. Trained volunteers make presentations to community groups, such as schools, businesses, churches, associations and health care entities. Outreach to schools includes working with crisis intervention teams and/or teachers when there is a loss or life-threatening illness in the school.

Following is a list of commonly requested topics for trainings. Often, topics are combined based on the needs of the organization.

Teens and Grief - What teens experience after a death and what the caregivers in their lives can do to help.

Group Facilitation Skills - Learn and develop the skills you'll need to facilitate support groups for children, teens, and adults.
