Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group
The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group is focused on supporting those who have experienced the suicide death of someone significant in their lives. Participants will take part in small groups divided by age over the course of eight (8) nights. Adults, teens and children (ages kindergarten and up) are welcome to attend.
- You may attend as an individual or as a family.
- School-aged children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
- Children under the age of five (5) are not permitted to attend.
- Children must be aware that the cause of death was suicide prior to attending.
New participants are welcome to join for the first two (2) weeks of the series. Thereafter, the series is closed. This allows those attending to establish trust and comfort among a familiar group as they do the difficult work of mourning.
Please Note: This group is offered at no cost to individuals and families, however, pre-registration is required. Mourning Hope attempts to accommodate all registrants for our grief support groups, but programs do fill quickly and space is limited.
