PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Mourning Hope is accepting applications for a part-time Administrative Operations Specialist to join our dedicated team. This essential role helps keep our organization and programs running smoothly – ensuring we can continue providing hope and healing to bereaved individuals and families in our community.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives on variety and meaningful work. The ideal candidate is compassionate, proactive, and able to represent our mission with care and warmth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, calendar coordination, and internal communications.
  • Maintain donor records, process donations and invoices, and prepare donor acknowledgment materials.
  • Support the behind-the-scenes logistics for fundraising events and community programs.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of our facility, including vendor coordination, room reservations, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and represent Mourning Hope with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in nonprofit administration, operations, or development.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
