Grief Support Clinician
Full-Time Position: Mourning Hope Grief Center, Lincoln, Nebraska
The Mourning Hope Grief Center is inviting a compassionate, collaborative professional to join our leadership team as a full-time Grief Support Clinician. At Mourning Hope, we walk alongside children, teens, adults and families as they navigate grief – and this role is central to that mission.
Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, the clinician will provide both individual counseling, peer-based support group facilitation, and direct special grief support programs. As the Camp Erin Director, this person will lead the design and delivery of our signature grief camp, a transformative experience that fosters connection and healing for young people. This position offers a thoughtful balance of support group leadership and a manageable individual counseling caseload, creating the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of our mission.
First preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW). Candidates with degrees in Counseling, Psychology or related fields are also welcome to apply.
Beyond clinical skills, we are looking for someone who will thrive in and contribute to our warm, supportive, close-knit team. Mourning Hope’s work is deeply relational – with participants, volunteers, donors, and one another – so we seek someone who values collaboration and a mission-centered work culture.
Applicants should hold current licensure and have experience providing clinical services and facilitating groups. Certification in thanatology or trauma-informed care is a plus.
Salary is commensurate with experience and geographic rates. Please submit a cover letter and resume by December 12, 2025, to:
