Support Group Facilitator

Support Group Facilitator

Mourning Hope facilitators lead evening support groups for children, teens, young adults and adults. Groups meet primarily in the evenings. Experience is not required. Facilitators must attend one of our training sessions, and are then matched with an experienced group facilitator who serves as a mentor throughout their first series. If both you and Mourning Hope believe facilitating is a good fit for you, you will be asked to commit to facilitating at least one 10-night series (one meeting per week for 10 consecutive weeks) within a year of attending training. A background check is completed on all Mourning Hope facilitators before they begin working with participants.

2021 Facilitator Training

Thursdays | February 4, 11, 18, 25 | 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

To be eligible to facilitate Mourning Hope grief support programs, participants must attend all four training nights plus an in-person session (when it's safe to do so.)

A $20 one-time fee to cover the cost of a background check and training materials. Payment is accepted online or via check.
