Community Events
Gather. Give. Bring hope to those who need it most.
Mourning Hope hosts and participates in events that bring the community together and support our mission. From galas and themed celebrations to shopping nights and local partnerships, these events help keep our programs free, providing healing and hope to individuals and families navigating grief.
Each event below offers a unique way to engage, give back and support our mission:
-
Hope in the Morning is Mourning Hope’s annual invitation-only breakfast, bringing together community and business leaders, elected officials, corporate partners and grief professionals to support grieving children and families. Proceeds help ensure our programs remain available at no cost to participants.
-
Wonder Women is a volunteer-founded giving initiative that helps make Mourning Hope’s grief support services available to the community through an annual contribution. The campaign culminates in a celebratory cocktail party that honors friendship, generosity and impact.
-
Common Threads is an annual collaborative event with the International Quilt Museum, reimagined each year through a distinct theme. The event raises support for youth programming at both organizations, celebrating creativity, connection and shared purpose.
