Camp Erin Volunteer Application

2024 Camp Erin Lincoln Volunteer Application

Camp Erin® Lincoln is a free bereavement camp for youth grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Children and teens ages 6 to 17 attend a weekend-long, overnight camp experience that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities.

This year's camp is scheduled for Friday, September 27 - Sunday, September 29 at Carol Joy Holling Camp in Ashland, Nebraska.

COVID-19
Because of COVID-19, programming and volunteer needs may adjust as we approach camp weekend. Mourning Hope will prioritize safety and wellbeing, and will place volunteers accordingly. Local DHMs will be monitored, and safety practices will be communicated prior to the camp weekend. Some programming may be rescheduled, canceled, or provided in a virtual setting. Volunteers will be notified of any changes as soon as possible. Volunteers may be required to show proof of COVID vaccination/booster and/or a negative COVID test prior to working with campers.
I have completed and reviewed this entire application and attest that the information provided is true and accurate. I also grant permission for Mourning Hope and Camp Erin to obtain information from my references and/or other volunteer organizations with which I have worked that may be pertinent to my application. I understand that I also must complete a Release of Information form so Mourning Hope can conduct a background check.
